avex group ANNUAL REPORT 2017
avex snapshot (Fiscal years ended March 31)
Performance
Net sales growth was primarily driven by increases in video package and related business sales in the Video Business as well as rises in live performance-related revenues in the Management & Live Business. However, operating income decreased mainly due to the weak perfor- mance of some video distribution services.
Indicators
The operating income margin and ROE declined in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017. This largely reflected the downturn in earnings. Despite this downturn, the shareholders' equity ratio remains stable, exceeding 40%. Looking ahead, the Avex Group will continue to strengthen its finan- cial base.
Per Share
The Avex Group has identified payout ratio and minimum dividend pay- ment targets of at least 35% and ¥50 per share, respectively. Turning to the fiscal year under review, the annual dividend was ¥50 per share.
