UTair Aviation Now a General Partner of MUZARTERY Roadshow

UTair Aviation takes an active part in the MUZARTERY roadshow project, a nationwide music competition is support of blood donation movement. This year, for the first time in the project's history, the roadshow will tour through 20 Russian cities from Moscow to Vladivostok, bringing blood donation supporters together countrywide.

The roadshow set off on July 11 in Moscow. At every city on the MUZARTERY route Donor Days will be held at mobile blood donation unit. Photo exhibitions dedicated to the three-year history of the project will be set up for visitors. The MUZARTERY music contest winners and runner-ups, joined by Russian celebrity artists and local talents, will give concerts in ten of the largest cities on the tour.

MUZARTERY is not the first project of the Russian Ministry of Healthcare and Federal Biomedical Agency joined by UTair Aviation. In 2014 UTair helped organize the Air Marathon for a Good Cause, a series of blood donation events held along a 30,300 km route across Russia. In 2015 UTair provided support for the 70 Years of Victory Blood Drive running through five Hero Cities and Cities of Military Glory across the country. More than 730 people participated in Donor Days.

"UTair's cooperation with the Ministry of Healthcare and the Federal Biomedical Agency is no coincidence," said UTair - Passenger Airlines President Oleg Semenov. "The lack of donor blood is a problem troubling many Russian regions. UTair's network, one of the largest in the country, enables the donor movement to maximize its presence in Russia."

The MUZARTERY nationwide music contest is one of the most prominent youth-oriented projects organized under the State Blood and Blood Components Donation Promotion Program. The event inspires hundreds of talented song writers, musicians and performers to create new compositions dedicated to the cause of blood donation.

The MUZARTERY tour schedule can be found at the program's official website.
