UTair Launches Scheduled Flights from Moscow to New Destinations on the Volga River

On June 1 2015 UTair Aviation initiated regular flights from Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow to the Volga cities of Penza, Saransk and Cheboksary.

The first UTair flights landing in Penza, Saransk and Cheboksary were greeted by a welcoming party consisting of top regional government officials, airport management, representatives of travel agencies and journalists.

UTair - Passenger Airlines President Oleg Semenov has emphasized that UTair, as one of Russia's leading airlines, has continually developed its flight network by increasing the number of socially important destinations in its route network among other priorities. "For the first time we have added routes connecting Moscow to the Volga River cities of Penza, Saransk and Cheboksary, offering residents of these cities access to more than 60 destinations in the UTair network thanks to convenient connections at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow," said Mr Semenov.

As a part of the ceremony, the first passengers to book flights to the new destinations were granted certificates entitling them to a complimentary round-trip flight with UTair to any destination within the airline's network.

Flights will be performed six times per week with ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft according to the following schedule, all times local:
