UTair - Helicopter Services Completes Service Contract with Gazprom Burenie

UTair - Helicopter Services, part of UTair Group, has completed contracted aviation works for Ukhta Burenie, a branch of Gazprom Burenie located in the Yamalo-Nenetsk region. The contract was signed in June 2015.

Under that agreement UTair helicopters transported diesel fuel to the Severo-Tambeiskoye deposit near the remote village of Sabetta. These operations were performed with heavy Mi-26T helicopters.

The Mi-26 helicopter is the world's largest rotorcraft with the highest lifting capacity, able to transport external loads of up to 20 tons. With 25 Mi-26T helicopters in its fleet, UTair - Helicopter Services is the largest operator of Mi-26T rotorcraft in the world today.

UTair - Helicopter Services President Alexey Vinogradov said that years of successful operations on the helicopter services market gave UTair - Helicopter Services the status of a market powerhouse and a reliable partner. He added that UTair - Helicopter Services is also involved in a number of other large-scale infrastructure projects in the Yamalo-Nenetsk region.
