With a new year, new opportunities arrive for you to make your talent stand out from the crowd using Sibelius. And new opportunities for music publishers to connect with their customers. Whether you're new to the Sibelius family or a veteran customer, you'll want to stop by our booth (6400 in Hall A) at The NAMM Show to get hands-on experience with the latest from the Sibelius music notation team.
At NAMM 2015 we introduced Sibelius | Cloud Publishing, a groundbreaking new publishing technology based on Avid Everywhere and built upon the Avid MediaCentral Platform. Sibelius | Cloud Publishing makes it easier than ever for music publishers to offer an enhanced online experience for customers, and revolutionizes the way sheet music scores are sold online. With a Sibelius | Cloud Publishing-enabled site, publishers can allow their customers to view, play, transpose, print, and purchase scores using any current web browser or mobile device, including Android, iOS, and Linux.
Sibelius | Cloud Publishing replaces the Sibelius Scorch web browser plug-in experience, originally introduced in 2001 and used by numerous top publishers and includes many new user experience enhancements.
2014 was an eventful year for the Sibelius team as we released a new version-Sibelius 7.5-and completed more than 160 improvements to ensure our music notation is still the fastest, smartest, easiest way for you to write music. Are you taking advantage of all the features Sibelius has to offer?
Need a refresher? Here are the top five features from our 7.5 upgrade:
Collaborate and share scores viacom, Avid Scorch for iPad, YouTube, Facebook, and SoundCloud
Navigate large scores with the new Timeline window
Get more expressive playback with the revamped Espressivo 2.0 feature
Access local language support for Russian and Brazilian Portuguese
Hear your scores more accurately with improved playback
But wait, there's more-thanks to your feedback, we made important fixes and performance improvements to Sibelius that are captured in the 7.5.1 update. Here are the top updates:
Faster than real-time audio and video export
Better support for high resolution displays on Windows
Ability to save preferences stored by plug-ins correctly
More reliable connection between Sibelius and Pro Tools when using ReWire
So what are you waiting for-NAMM opened its doors on January 22 in Anaheim, Calif., come to the booth, meet me and the Sibelius team and test out these new features and improvements for yourself. We're looking forward to demonstrating how you can use Sibelius to express, accelerate, and promote your creativity in more ways than ever before.
