Axel Springer NOAH Berlin 2018: Opening Dinner with Peter Thiel and Dara Khosrowshahi on 5 June 2018

Axel Springer opens Axel Springer NOAH Berlin for the fourth time with a dinner on Tuesday evening, 5 June 2018. On the eve of the most important industry event in the European digital economy, the CEOs of established companies come face-to-face with their digital challengers. Investor Peter Thiel and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi are guest speakers at this year's traditional opening dinner, and will then discuss with Mathias Döpfner, CEO of Axel Springer SE, the interplay between artificial intelligence, freedom and mobility, among other things.

Ariana Huffington, Henry Kissinger, Martin Schulz and Christian Lindner were guest speakers at the traditional opening dinner in previous years. Among the around 130 invited guests this year are: Nicolas Brusson (CEO Blabla Car), Gerhard Cromme (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG), Klaus Hommels (CEO Lakestar), Markus Pertlwieser (Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Bank AG), Dominik Richter (CEO hellofresh), Oliver Samwer (CEO Rocket Internet), Markus Witte (CEO Babbel) and Philipp Welte (Member of the Management Board of Hubert Burda Media).

WELT is publishing a 28-page special supplement in the context of the Axel Springer NOAH Conference.
