Under the terms and for the purposes of article 17 (1) of the Securities Code, Banco Comercial Português, S.A. informs that it received, on 8 January 2015 the communication from Alken Luxembourg S.A. (Alken Lux), which is the dedicated management company of the Alken Fund SICAV, informing that, pursuant to stock exchange operations carried out on 11

December 2014, sold 16,613,364 shares of the share capital of BCP. As a result and under the

terms of article 20 of the Securities Code, Alken Lux is attributed an indirect shareholding in BCP

of 1,075,641,649 shares in total, corresponding to 1.98% of the respective share capital.
