The number of natural-gas drilling rigs working in the U.S. fell by 11 last week to 498, according to oil-field-services company Baker Hughes Inc. (BHI).

The figure was down 416 from a year ago.

The oil-rig count fell by 7 to 1,425 in the week. The number of working oil rigs was up 359 from a year ago.
