The number of natural-gas drilling rigs working in the U.S. fell by 23 in the latest week to 565, according to oil-field-services company Baker Hughes Inc. (BHI).

The figure was down 314 from a year ago.

The oil-rig count rose by 28 to 1,414. The number of working oil rigs was up 445 from a year ago.
