Rob Byrnes, Working Winning Director for Balfour Beatty's North and Midlands business, is today featured in Building Magazine discussing the positive impact of the Social Value Act (SVA) within the construction sector.

The article explores how the SVA encourages contractors delivering works for commissioning authorities to provide a range of additional outcomes as part of their contract which benefits society.

Balfour Beatty believes that social value is about creating a lasting legacy for the communities in which it operates; delivering benefits ranging from training and employing the long-term unemployed to boosting small, medium and micro businesses and reducing air pollution.
