BANCA MONTE DEI PASCHI DI SIENA S.P.A. Banca Monte dei Paschi S.p.A. announces that on March 17th 2017 DBRS assigned rating to the State Guaranteed Note issued by the Bank on March 15th 2017, regulated by the Law Decree no. 237/2016, as subsequently amended by law of conversion no. 15/2017.
In particular, DBRS assigned a long-term rating of BBB(high) to "Banca Monte dei Paschi S.p.A. 0.75% March, 15th 2020 with State Guarantee - ISIN IT0005246423".
Since the note benefits from an unconditional and irrevocable guarantee of the Italian State, its rating is in line with the one of the Republic of Italy.
