From 2013 both foundations promote the incorporation of new technologies, computer and ATM literacy for senior citizens in the Province of Jujuy. Workshops have provided training to more than 4,000 individuals.

'At the age of 56 I went from not even knowing how to turn on a computer to reading the newspaper in the Internet every day. It is a great opportunity provided by Fundación Educando and Banco Macro in the Province of Jujuy and a great benefit for senior citizens. I wish to keep on learning', said Timoteo Mamaní, who participated in the latest edition of the program.

The 'Computing Education' ('Educando en Informática') project is conducted as a consequence of the excellent results obtained by the 'Mobile Classroom' ('Aula Móvil') project conducted in 2013 and the training workshops held at the school Jesús Maestro in 2014.

In this edition, Banco Macro has incorporated a new module on financial education, based on the new portal www.cuentassanas.com.ar, the first personal and family financial education web portal in Argentina that provides an integral education base on personal finance and banking.

Banco Macro promotes this training program in the frame of its corporate responsibility policy. This program intends to foster technology as a tool of development, inclusion and improvement of life quality of individuals and communities in the areas where Banco Macro is present.
