Jakarta, 29 July 2016 - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk. (Danamon) today inaugurates its new head office, Menara Bank Danamon. The head office, which is located in Jalan H.R. During the same event, Danamon also launches its Laku Pandai or branchless banking program, which is conducted in five cities across Indonesia. The launch was attended and witnessed by the Chairman of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Muliaman D. Hadad. These activities are part of a series of activities to celebrate Danamon's 60th anniversary.

'The inauguration of Menara Bank Danamon is an important milestone for Danamon. This achievement coincides with Danamon's 60th anniversary. In addition to becoming a source of pride for Danamon employees, Menara Bank Danamon also integrates the company's operations within one place, improving synergies and aligment among working units, allowing us to provide better values for our customers and other stakeholders,' said Danamon's President Director, Sng Seow Wah.
The building, which is wholly owned by Danamon, also houses the offices of Danamon's subsidiaries, Adira Finance and Adira Insurance as well as Yayasan Danamon Peduli, an independent organization that manages Danamon's social responsibility activities. With modern and comprehensive supporting facilities, such as function hall, employee lounge, employee clinic, fitness facilities, lactation room, and others, Menara Bank Danamon creates a productive working environment.

Menara Bank Danamon has 21 floors and features two sky gardens or open spaces in the 12th and 22nd floors with a building area of 40,000 m2 on top of 4,100 m2 of land.

Menara Bank Danamon also adopts several environmentally friendly and energy saving features, including the use of environmentally friendly materials such as Low E Double Glazing glasses for window panes, which absorbs heat and thereby reduce the usage of air conditioner and artificial lighting. The new head office is also equipped with a Waste Water Treatment Plant, energy efficient lighting, and bicycle parking.

During the inauguration, Danamon also launches its Laku Pandai or branchless banking service in five cities across Indonesia, which are Bekasi, Wonogiri, Teluk Betung, Pare-Pare, and Lubuk Pakam. Danamon's Laku Pandai product will be marketed through PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk. (Adira Finance), which is one of Indonesia's largest automotive financing companies with a wide network across the country and is a subsidiary of Danamon.

The Laku Pandai savings product is designed to meet the needs of customers who previously have no access to banking services. The Laku Pandai savings does not require initial or minimum deposit, does not have administrative fee, charges a lower transaction fee compared to conventional savings products, pays interest for any amount in the account (with specific tiers in accordance to the Bank's policy), utilizes technologies that are easy to use, and is insured by the Deposit Insurance Corporation, among other features.
Laku Pandai is part of Danamon's commitment to support financial inclusion, which strives to increase the public's access towards financial services. This is in line with Danamon's vision, which is 'to care and enable millions to prosper.'

Activities that are part of Danamon's 60th anniversary celebration also include attractive offers and promos for customers, celebratory events with employees and external stakeholders, and social responsibility activities. Danamon is conducting 60 community projects throughout Indonesia through Yayasan Danamon Peduli and supported by volunteers from Danamon and Adira. These projects serve to show our appreciation to the communities in which we operate.
