Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML) has won three awards across Foreign Exchange (FX) and Global Transaction Services (GTS) in EMEA Finance magazine's Treasury Services Awards 2017.

The awards, presented during a ceremony at Sibos in Toronto, include:

  • Best Treasury Services in EMEA award (third consecutive year).

  • Best Foreign Exchange Services in Europe (fifth consecutive year).

  • Best Foreign Exchange Services in EMEA (sixth consecutive year).

Commenting on the bank's success, Christopher Moore, publisher of EMEA Finance magazine, said, 'We at EMEA Finance love 'EMEA-champions' -- these are the companies driving their businesses forward, seizing both regional and global opportunities.

'BofAML is an important partner for many of these champions, supporting them not only in the capital markets, but also working with treasurers to help maximize their working capital cycle, develop supply chains, and of course, keep their day-to-day business ticking along like clockwork.'

Bryant Park, global head of FX Sales at BofAML, said, 'The awards reflect our client focus, which is at the very core of our FX service. The strength of our offering rests on outstanding global reach combined with local expertise. We are continually investing in our portfolio of products and innovating to help our clients achieve their goals, as they are a key part of our growth journey.'

Matthew Davies, head of GTS EMEA at BofAML, added, 'We are delighted to be awarded the Best Treasury Services in EMEA accolade for the third consecutive year. As a global bank that has been providing transaction services in Europe for more than 86 years, we remain steadfast in our efforts to provide constructive guidance and strategic advice to our clients.

'We're not only uniquely placed to bring ideas to our clients via our umbrella of capabilities -- including trade, cash management, commercial cards and transactional FX -- but through our fully integrated approach across the bank, including GTS and FX, we deliver a seamless client offering that supports them on a cross-discipline level, helping them achieve their business objectives.'

The EMEA Finance Treasury Services Awards have been running for eight years and recognize banks for ingenuity, innovation and investments in cash management, FX and other treasury services.
