Bank of Maharashtra is observing 'Vigilance Awareness Week' from 27th October 2014 to 1st November 2014 as per directives of Central Vigilance Commission. The week commenced with taking Pledge by all staff members of the bank on 27 th October 2014. During this week, the speech of Dr. Atul Fulzele, Superintendent of Police, Central Bureau of Investigation, Pune was organized at our Bank 29th October 2014
The Chairman & Managing Director Shri Sushil Muhnot stated that with adoption of various modern technology initiatives, the Bank will be in a better position to supervise and mitigate the operational risks.
Dr. Atul Fulzele deliberated on the subject 'Banking Frauds and CBI Investigation.' He stressed the need of effective vigilance set-up in all the organization and opined that banks' systems & procedures are so robust and if the employees follow them properly it is difficult to perpetrate fraud by outsider.
