Hon'ble Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Narendra Singh hoisted the national flag along with Executive Director Mr. R. Athmaram and other top management colleagues & staffs on the occasion of 67th Independence Day at Lokmangal, Head Office, Pune and wished all the staff of Bank and their family members.
Addressing the staff members, Mr. Singh said in spite of financial recession in the country, our bank has shown a substantial growth and the challenge is to maintain the growth and achieve targets. Mr. Singh advised all the staff to focus more on financial inclusion which is the priority and focus area of our Govt. He emphasized on whole heartily participation and involvement of the staff and reminded the important role of banker in financial inclusion and Economic growth of the country.
He also congratulated the staff on opening of 50 branches on 14th August 2013 in a single day and marching towards the target of 2000 branches during the financial year 2013-14.
