In accordance with the provisions of article 82 of Law 24/1988 of 28 July, of the Securities Market, Bankia S.A. hereby announces that Fitch Ratings has affirmed Bankia, S.A.'s Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at 'BBB-', and its Short-term IDRs at 'F3' (with a long-term Negative Outlook) and its long-term IDR and
senior debt ratings.
The Fitch Ratings agency has also upgraded Bankia's Viability Rating (VR) to 'BB from 'B.
