Banpu Public Company Limited, one of Asia's leading energy companies, has been selected as a member of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DSJI) in collaboration with RobecoSAM, the international standard for sustainability indices, for Emerging Markets 2016 in the Energy Sector. This is the third consecutive year Banpu has secured a high ranking, confirming the company's commitment to true business sustainability. In addition, the Company also acquired the highest score in Coal and Consumable Fuels Sector as one of five Thai companies in the energy sector to achieve listing.

According to the DJSI 2016 report, Banpu was selected based on an assessment of the Company's exemplary economic, social and environmental contributions to the Energy Sector in response to the company's strategy to attain stable and viable growth in the region.
