ClickShare is more than clicking and sharing. We have started a series explaining a number of 'hidden features' of ClickShare that will even enhance the experience. Today, we show you how to extend the reach of your ClickShare unit.

The biggest advantage of wireless communication is, well, that you don't need any wires. But although very inconvenient, wires have one advantage: they can carry long distances. Especially indoors, wireless signals are more limited in reach.

The ClickShare Base Unit creates its own wireless network. Usually this is perfect, as the ClickShare Base Unit is generally positioned inside the meeting room. In that case, it's just a matter of positioning the antennas in the correct way. But what if you want to put your ClickShare outside the room, in a rack? Or what if the interior design architect decides the ClickShare Base Unit should be positioned inside a metal housing?

In these cases, we recommend to use antenna extension cables. With these you can bring your antennas into the meeting room, giving perfect access to all meeting room participants. Yes, we hate cables too, but at least you can hide these ones...
