On 4 February, New Element Communications from Beijing, China, hosted the annual meeting and gala dinner for 800 Chinese Chrysler dealers. The event took place in the Resorts World Sentosa Ballroom in Singapore, the largest column-free ballroom in the region. Barco's local partner ETG was asked to impress all attendees with state-of-the-art presentation equipment. The perfect occasion, it figured, to showcase its brand new Barco E2 screen management system for the very first time.

Leading partner

Barco's local partner ETG is a tech-benchmark company in audiovisual equipment rental services. This year marks ETG's 30th anniversary as a leading provider in sound, light, video and staging solutions in Singapore. In the past, it repeatedly was the first to market Barco solutions including the FSN series 3G-ready multi-format switchers, and the 5000, 8000, and 9000 series projectors in the country. No wonder ETG now is the first company to own and deploy the Barco E2 screen management system in Southeast Asia.

Notable debut

In early February, the E2 presentation installation made a notable debut at the annual meeting of Chinese Chrysler dealers, hosted by New Elements Communications. With its six subsidiaries, New Elements Communications provides a wide range of communication services to the automotive, IT, financial, aviation and FMCG industries. And what a debut it was! Thanks to the novel design, the number of cables and monitors was greatly reduced, thus saving valuable time at set-up. Supported by Barco's FSN 1804 multi-format switcher, the E2 system produced a memorable show, leaving attendees in awe with a phenomenal image quality.

Top of the market

In order to give its customers the best possible experience, ETG constantly keeps a finger on the pulse of the visualization industry. And that's how Barco's E2 appeared on its radar. The 4K screen management system was launched in the summer of 2014. Raising the bar for live screen management, E2 provides superior image quality, exceptional input and output density, great expandability and durability. Supporting native 4K input and output, it is the first and only screen management system on the market that can manage a 4K projector blend with refresh rates of up to 60Hz. Designed especially for the live event industry, the rugged E2 features a steel chassis that's able to withstand the challenging conditions of life on the road.
