The offices of video solutions company Imago Group in Johannesburg, South Africa, was the ideal setting for a big première last week: the South-African launch of our Nexxis NRC-200 and our laser phosphor projector - two brand-new, smart meeting room solutions.

Amazingly bright, near-silent and user-friendly
The participants in the launch event were mightily impressed with the compactness, brightness and silence of the new projector. Our 1-chip DLP laser phosphor projector is indeed very light, produces 'laser-sharp' images with sensational colors and is near-silent (less than 35 decibels). Equally interesting is the low maintenance required: the laser phosphor light source offers a 20,000-hour lifetime and takes away the burden of regular maintenance. The Nexxis NRC-200, for its part, was praised for its ease of use. "Both the projector and Nexxis help users to fully focus on their training session or meeting, rather than on the technology," said Koen Ameye, Barco's business development expert who helped organize the event. "We were pleased to demonstrate that to the interested audience, during the event."

Enhancing meeting productivity
Imago Communications, a subsidiary of the larger Imago Group, gladly hosted our launch sessions. "Imago has been distributing our ClickShare system in South Africa for a while now. They regarded our brand-new laser projector and the Nexxis NRC-200 room compositor a perfect match for their corporate portfolio. Both new solutions both been developed to increase productivity and interaction during meetings, just like ClickShare," said Ameye.
