Barco's F50 single-chip DLP projector was just honored with a "Best in Show" award from NewBay Media's AV Technology pub at InfoComm today. The new F50 range offers a unique combination of high resolution and active 3D stereo at higher frame rates in a small, quiet unit. The expanding line-up now features a Panorama, WUXGA and Full HD model to meet a wide variety of demanding applications, from first-class exhibitions and high-end visitor attractions to corporate collaboration suites, 24/7 control rooms and big data analytics labs. "Barco is continually innovating its high-fidelity projector offering, and excited about our latest additions, which represent a quantum leap in performance and image quality to expertly handle 3D and big data applications," comments Kristian Kolstad, Director of Product Management at Barco. "The combination of these resolutions - with active 3D stereo and high frame rates - in such a compact footprint, delivers a comprehensive projector portfolio able to fulfill a wide range of visualization needs."
The F50 accommodates four different digital input sources including Display Port and HDBaseT for compatibility with the latest sources, eliminating the need for scaling while putting the highest resolution image on screen. The projector also comes with a wide range of expansion modules and high-performance lenses to deliver the ultimate flexibility.
