Our Balder Cinemascope laser phosphor projector pushes the boundaries of performance while offering the ultimate ease of installation. And it's not us who make this claim, but Essential Install Magazine, the UK's leading home automation monthly! Last week, they awarded our 4K UHD home cinema projector the 'Projector of the Year' prize at the EI Live! Trade show in Surrey, UK.

Smart home and automation awards
For years, the EI Live! trade show has been a must-attend event for the UK custom smart building and home automation industry. On 10 and 11 May, thousands of visitors wandered the trade show floors to discover new products and technologies being installed in homes across the UK. The Smart Home and Automation Awards by Essential Install Magazine applauds the technology that has set the tone in the sector in the past year. Criteria to claim the title of 'Projector of the Year' included easy setup, calibration and installation, in addition to, of course, outstanding visual performance.
Exceptional performance We were delighted to hear that our Balder Cinemascope meets all of these criteria, according to the jury. Launched at this year's ISE in February, the Barco Balder range delivers a punchy 3,500 to 7,000 lumen output. The secret to its exceptional performance? The laser phosphor projectors rely on the same electronics as our higher-end Loki models: a dual laser light engine coupled to award-winning DLP technology and world-class optics. Moreover, as it features the finest aesthetic building materials such as aluminum and glass, it brings beauty into the most refined home cinema and media rooms.

We were delighted to hear that Essential Install Magazines has recognized our efforts with this much-coveted award!
