MAULDIN, SC, November 21, 2014 - The United Way of Greenville recently honored the BASF site in Mauldin, South Carolina for record-breaking fundraising efforts during the 2014 campaign.

BASF employees nearly doubled their fundraising goal of $8,500; contributing a total of $16,500 to the United Way.

BASF Site Manager Neville Lockwood attributed the company's fundraising campaign's success to team effort and a series of positive strides. They include holding a successful chili cook off to kick-start their campaign; increased employee participation; exceeding their campaign goal by nearly 200 percent and quadrupling the company's previous highest fundraising total.

"We value our place in this community," Lockwood said. "Our employees were enthusiastic about giving back to an organization that makes such a positive impact on Mauldin."
