Basic Fit : has EuropeActive certified staff in all Belgian clubs

Hoofddorp, 23 January 2017 - Basic-Fit (BFIT) announces that all its Belgian clubs now have staff who have successfully concluded a EuropeActive accredited training programme. Our trained employees are now even better equipped to service our members and explain them how to best use our fitness equipment so they can make the most of their workout.
In October 2016, we started the training programme, based on EREPS level 2, for our Belgian club employees. More than 80% of the participating employees successfully completed the course and received the internationally acknowledged Fitness Assistant title.
At the end of 2016, Basic-Fit operated 419 clubs of which 159 in Belgium. With that we are the largest fitness chain in Europe and Belgium. We will continue to invest in the expansion of our network and in the quality of our service and member experience.

- fitness clubs operation (96.4%). At the end of 2023, the group had 3.8 million members in 1,402 clubs located in the Netherlands (237), France (781), Belgium (223), Spain (139), Germany (12) and Luxembourg (10);
- other (3.6%): personal trainer services, sale of energy drinks and nutritional bars, etc.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the Netherlands (23.9%), France (48.5%), Belgium (20.3%), Spain (5.7%) and Luxembourg (1.6%).
