April 17, 2014 - Sturgeon Bay, WI

Nancy Ditewig, Assistant Vice President and Executive Secretary of Baylake Bank and Baylake Corp., is retiring after a 45-year career with the organization.

Ditewig began working at (then) Bank of Sturgeon Bay in 1968 as a Switchboard Operator, Safe Deposit Box Attendant, and assisting in Loan Documentation and Administration. In 1977, Nancy was promoted to Assistant Cashier and Loan Officer where she worked with customers primarily helping them with home loans. During that same year, she also started working as an assistant to T.L. Herlache when he became Chief Executive Officer. She was later named Executive Assistant and worked with Mr. Herlache until his retirement. Since that time she has worked in the same capacity with current Chief Executive Officer and President Robert J. Cera.

"It has been a pleasure working with Nancy. She is a true professional who has been a knowledgeable go-to for our shareholders, Board of Directors, and entire company, and she has delivered impeccable results," Cera said. "We wish Nancy all the best in the future, and congratulate her on a great career at Baylake Bank."

In addition to her work as executive assistant, Nancy began helping with shareholder administration in the late 1980s. Nancy eventually took over these responsibilities, and became the main point of contact for Baylake Corp. shareholders throughout the remainder of her career. Her last day of work at Baylake is Friday, April 18, 2014.

"My career at Baylake Bank has been rewarding and I am thankful for the friendships I have had with coworkers, customers, and board members. I am also looking forward to spending more time with family and enjoying a variety of hobbies during my retirement," Ditewig said.

Baylake Bank serves Northeast Wisconsin from 21 community financial centers throughout Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Outagamie Counties. Baylake Corp. is the holding company for Baylake Bank (NASDAQ: BYLK).
