BayWa : van Lanschot named Senior Executive Vice President

Godefridus "Ito" van Lanschot, who has been responsible for the Agri Supply & Trade division within the BayWa Group since 1 April 2015, has been named as Senior Executive Vice President.

Godefridus "Ito" van Lanschot, who has been responsible for the Agri Supply & Trade division within the BayWa Group since 1 April 2015, has been named as Senior Executive Vice President. In this position, he will continue reporting directly to Klaus Josef Lutz, the Chief Executive Officer of BayWa AG. Van Lanschot joined the Munich-based trading and services group in March 2014. Since then, he has been in charge of the expansion of the international agriculture business. The Agri Supply & Trade division comprises national and international trading in grain and oilseed. In organisational terms, it encompasses the agriculture trade activities of BayWa AG, BayWa Agrar International B.V. (Rotterdam) and BayWa Agrarhandel GmbH (Steimbke).

Ito van Lanschot is an expert in agribusiness and in commodities and agricultural products trading. Over the course of his career, he has managed various companies in these business sectors on four continents. With the exception of a short hiatus, he very successfully led Nidera, an international agricultural trading company, from 1992 to 2010.
