Introducing Your BCB Upgrades

September 8, 2015 - BCB Community Bank will soon be making a few exciting enhancements to the way we do banking. We want to make sure that all of our loyal customers are kept informed on the upcoming improvements. Read below to learn more about these upgrades & continue to check the BCB News section, along with our social media sites, to stay updated on important dates.

SWIPE IN STYLE & IN SAFETY: NEW BCB DEBIT CARDS ARE COMING GET READY FOR:
  • Stronger Security (EMV Chip)*: With the new EMV chip, it'll be much more difficult for someone else to use your Debit Card, in the event that it is lost or stolen.
  • Stylish Swiping: Out with the old & in with the … blue. New colors & new logo for your new Debit Card.
  • Raising the Limits: New Debit Card limits for Personal Cards: $750.00 default limit & Business Cards: $1,000.00 default limit. Customers with custom limits will not be affected by this change.**
  • Enhanced Convenience: You will soon be able to report a lost or stolen card by: 1. Calling our toll free number (1.866.823.0700); 2. Calling our 24-hour number (1.866.536.8273) and/or; 3. Using Online Banking.*** You'll also be able to change your PIN more easily, by either calling us or by doing so at one of our ATMs.****
ONLINE BANKING IS ABOUT TO GET BETTER. GET READY FOR:
  • New, cleaner look plus easier navigation.
  • Ability to transfer funds to & from your non-BCB accounts.
  • Ability to transfer funds to & from your friends & family (P2P).
  • Business customers will no longer have a separate login page for Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), which will allow business to scan checks & send the scanned images to BCB for posting & clearing.
  • Business customers who use Positive Pay will be able to view their check exceptions online.
  • Ability to activate a new Debit Card & report a lost or stolen Debit Card through Online Banking.
THERE'S A (NEW) APP FOR THAT: UPGRADED MOBILE BANKING GET READY FOR:
  • Ability to transfer funds to & from your friends & family (P2P).
  • Ability to use Mobile Check Capture (MCC), which will allow you to photograph a check & deposit it into your BCB account. *****
  • Ability to disable your Debit Card in the event that it is lost or stolen.
  • iPad specific App.
MAKING A STATEMENT. GET READY FOR:
  • A new, cleaner look to your statements.
  • Access to electronic versions of all statements & notice types.
  • Access to electronic tax statements for customers with electronic statements.
  • Access to monthly & annual tax statements for 4 years & the ability to save these documents as PDFs.
A FEW MORE THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR: PHONE BANKING:
  • Ability to activate Debit Card, change your Debit Card PIN, & report a lost or stolen card by using Phone Banking.
IN-BRANCH BANKING:
  • Ability to use Debit Card linked to account to make deposits.

** Campus & Second Chance Debit Card limits will remain the same ($500.00 & $250.00, respectively).

*** In the event that your card is lost, stolen, or broken, the cost for a Replacement Card will be $8.00.

**** PIN changes may not be available at all ATMs immediately following the upgrade (important dates to be disclosed in the upcoming weeks).
