BE Semiconductor : Industries Announces Transactions Under Share Repurchase Program

Duiven, the Netherlands, September 1, 2016 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the 'Company' or 'Besi') (Euronext Amsterdam: BESI; OTC: BESIY - Nasdaq International Designation), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 21,000 of its ordinary shares during the period from Thursday August 25, 2016 up to and including Thursday September 1, 2016 at a weighted average price of € 28.34 for a total purchase amount of € 595,166. Since September 25, 2015, Besi has purchased a total of 880,331 of its ordinary shares at a weighted average price of € 21.49 for a total purchase amount of € 18,920,668. The share repurchases are part of a buy-back program announced on September 25, 2015.
