KISS COUNTRY 99.9 WELCOMES "BROADWAY" TO MORNING SHOW
MIAMI, FL, January 18, 2012 - Beasley Broadcast Miami
welcomes "Broadway" to WKIS-FM
99.9 Kiss Country. Beginning January 24th,
Broadway joins the popular on-air duo of Kenny
Walker and U-Turn Lavern mornings from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00
a.m. He reports to Operations
Manager Ken Boesen.
Broadway relocates to Miami from Grand Rapids, Michigan where
he started working in 1997; most recently he was as morning
host of WSNX-FM and the evening host on WBCT-FM. Joining in
the move to the Sunshine State are his wife, Jamie, two
year-old son Peyton and Porkchop, the family dog.
"Broadway is a terrific talent who brings a great skill-set
to Kiss Country. He has a big presence on-air and will blend
especially well with Kenny Walker and U-Turn Laverne,"
remarks Ken Boesen, Operations Manager at WKIS.
Adds Broadway, "I'm extremely excited about this
opportunity and can't wait to join Ken, my new co-workers
Kenny and U-Turn, and the rest of the Kiss Country team. The
timing is perfect in that I arrive the week of Kiss Country's
27th Annual Chili Cook-off - what a great way to
meet our listeners!"
