Beazley appoints Sam Franks to lead UK businessdevelo pment

Beazley, the specialist insurer, has appointed SamFranks as UK regional business development manager. He will join Beazley on1stSeptember 2018 and will be responsible for leading thecompany's UK business development initiative.

Mr Franks joins from Hiscox where he was Regional Manager forHiscox Birmingham; prior to that he worked as Head of BrokerOperations. . He has a wealth of experience in building a UKregional strategy and will be instrumental in developing Beazley'sown strategy and broker relationships in the UK regions.

Mr. Franks will be based in the company's Birmingham office.

Beazley has recently moved to larger premises in Birmingham, inanticipation of an increasing number of underwriters being based there in support of its UK regional ambitions. The office will also become a hub for claims handling, multinational credit control, project management and IT operations.
