Business rescue and recovery specialist Begbies Traynor is hosting a series of seminars for professionals in the North East focussing on the powers of an insolvency practitioner.

The CPD-accredited seminar will cover the extensive powers that an insolvency practitioner has at his disposal following an appointment and the potential offences that directors may find themselves falling foul of, in most cases without even knowing they are exposed.

The first of the one hour seminars will take place on Tuesday 7 July, starting with breakfast at 8.30am followed by the presentation at 9.00am at Lumley Castle Hotel in Chester-le-street; and the second will be held on Wednesday 8 July at The Galloway Club, Newcastle United FC.

Speaking ahead of the event, Andy Haslam, partner at Begbies Traynor in Newcastle, said: "These are the latest in our series of seminars aimed at accountants, lawyers, bankers and financial advisers and their clients in the region. As well as gaining insight into a topical issue and gaining ongoing CPD points, they're also a great opportunity to network and socialise."

Please contact Andy Haslam on (0191) 269 9820 or Andrew.haslam@begbies-traynor.com if you would like to reserve a place.
