Renaud Tilmans new Executive Vice President Customer Operations

Belgacom appoints Renaud Tilmans as Executive Vice President Customer Operations and member of the Management Committee, effective immediately.

Renaud is taking the lead of the new Business Unit Customer Operations, regrouping operational after-sales activities currently spread among different Business Units, in the purpose to increase the end-to-end responsibility of Belgacom's key customer processes and to step up the cost-effectiveness. Together with his future team Renaud will work on the alignment of processes and will aim to generate synergies in activities, enabling efficiency improvement in operational matters.

The creation of this new Business Unit constitutes an important organizational step towards optimization, which will enable the Belgacom Group to move forward in its "Fit For Growth" strategy. The enhancement of quality, cost effectiveness, simplicity, productivity and customer experience are key to ensure Belgacom's future in a very competitive environment.

Civil engineer with degrees in computer science and management, Renaud has gathered an all-round management experience in networks and telecom at large since 1993, working his way up and increasing his responsibilities over the years.  Since 2012 onwards Renaud has been leading the Customer Operations division of the Service Delivery Engine & Wholesale business unit.
