From now on, Proximus customers with an Android smartphone or tablet can pay for their purchases in Google Play by having them charged to their Proximus bill or top-up card. Previously it was only possible to pay with a credit card or via PayPal.

This new service now lets customers purchase applications simply and securely. To pay for apps, music, e-books and games via their Proximus bill or top-up card, customers need to link their Google Play and Gmail™ address to their Proximus number. This is done by simply following the instructions on Google Play. Once the link has been set up, customers can always pay for their downloads in this way.

Users can view a list of their purchases from Google Play at any time on MyProximus. After each purchase, customers will receive a confirmation e-mail from Google setting out the details of their downloads. Customers can cancel their purchase of apps and games up to two hours after the transaction.  Also, all items purchased, along with their prices, are clearly indicated on the Proximus bill.

To ensure optimal security, Google by default limits purchases charged to a Proximus bill or top-up card to a maximum of €25 per purchase and €125 per month.  In addition, with each purchase, Google Play requires the customer to give his approval and enter his password.https://admit.belgacom.be/MyProximus.
