25.09.2014 - Press release

Berlin, Germany. 25 September 2014 - The deliberate misuse of company data by users within the enterprise network means that security is of central importance to all staff in a company - from the IT administrator to the CEO. This applies to midsized companies just as much as to large enterprises. Yet only 68% of companies create and document formal IT security and permission processes. Beta Systems Software, Europe's largest provider of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, will be showing its proven solution portfolio in Hall 12.0, Stand 555 at the it-sa trade show, which takes place in Nuremberg (Germany) from 7 to 9 October 2014.

IT security no longer only concerns the IT department - it has become a crucial business issue too. If a business department's IT system is not adequately protected against fraud and misuse, the department must be accountable for the consequences of this insufficient protection. Clearly-defined permissions and identity management systems are the only way to establish responsibilities for a department's information and how it is used. They enable companies to minimize the risks of unauthorized and undesirable data modifications and usage.

The Beta Systems solutions SAM Enterprise Identity Manager and Garancy Access Intelligence Manager provide powerful features for companies in any industry to support governance and compliance, provisioning and administration as well as password management. They enable companies to optimize the way their business-critical data is handled while reducing operating costs, minimizing access risks and supporting efficient and compliant information processing.
