With the roll out, Patiala becomes the 10th town in the State to get Airtel 4G services following Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara and Kapurthala. Customers can now experience an all new 'electrifying' internet browsing experience to enjoy capabilities like high definition video streaming with zero buffering, download10 movies in less than 30 minutes, upload full holiday albums in less than 5 minutes by uploading 2 high quality photos per second and connect multiple devices without any experience constraint.
Customers will be able to connect to the fastest ever internet service anywhere, anytime on either their mobile phone on iPhone 5S/5C or on dongles or on Wi-Fi with the home broadband solution of CPEs. While the dongles and the Wi-Fi CPE's will give customers the fastest broadband experience at home, with Apple iPhone 5S and 5C, customers can experience 4G on the move. Customers in Punjab - Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana and Jalandhar can leverage the advanced 4G technology capabilities even while roaming across these cities.

Customers on iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c can start their mobile 4G experience right away by upgrading to a USIM (Universal SIM) / 4G SIM and selecting a plan/pack of their choice from an affordable range of offers. Customers can also enjoy the Airtel 4G's unbeatable speed on the Airtel 4G dongle, Wi-Fi CPE and 4G compatible handsets including Xolo LT 900, LG G2 (model D802T), LG F70, OPPO Find 7 and OPPO Find 7a apart from the iPhone 5S (models A1530& A1518) and 5C (models A1529 & A1516). While the USIM shall come free with the purchase of dongle or CPE, it shall come at a nominal cost of Rs. 49/- for mobile users, the dongles are priced at Rs. 1500/, the CPE is priced at Rs. 2500/-. Customers can select from a host of affordable 4G packs or plans.
