Excellent result for Biesse at the Xylexpo fair in Milan

Pesaro, 16 May 2018 - Biesse S.p.A. - which is listed in the STAR segment of the Italian stock exchange and which is engaged in the design and production of machinery and systems for the processing of wood, glass/stone and composite materials - on the day following the biennial trade fair dedicated to technologies for the processing of wood and components for the furniture industry (Xylexpo 8-12 May) announces that during the exhibition in Milan it received expressions of interest amounting to more than Euro 21 million, representing an increase compared with the previous event in 2016.

Although part of these sales orders are yet to be formally confirmed in the coming weeks, the company received unprecedented levels of positive feedback from clients - Italian and foreign - in meetings at its 3,000 sq m stand. During the event in Milan, Biesse (an award winner at the XIA Xylexpo Innovation Awards) exhibited its robotic solutions, new technologies and the principal applications of the SOPHIA platform for the digitalisation of production facilities.
