Hamburg, Germany, 9 July 2018 - The Bijou Brigitte Group generated sales of EUR 145.6 million (-2.1%) in the first half of this year, according to preliminary figures. This is due to a reduction in the number of branches compared to the previous year (30.6.2018: 1,044). The company expects to have slightly fewer stores at year-end than it did at the close of 2017 (31.12.2017: 1,060).
The Group has confirmed the sales and earnings forecast for the 2018 financial year. The Group expects sales of between EUR 315 million and EUR 330 million and Group earnings before income taxes of between EUR 20 million and EUR 30 million at the year-end.
