July 1, 2015 - Natural gas customers in the northwest Wyoming towns of Cody, Ralston and Meeteetse have a new utility service provider today, following Black Hills Corp.'s acquisition of Wyoming natural gas utility Energy West Wyoming and 72 miles of pipeline assets from Energy West Development.

Black Hills Corp. will serve approximately 6,700 new customers under the name Black Hills Energy, and those customers will begin seeing the Black Hills Energy name and logo on company vehicles and correspondence in the coming months.

"We are pleased to welcome our new customers into the Black Hills family," said Justin Jones, Black Hills Energy's manager of operations for northwest Wyoming. "We look forward to providing safe, reliable natural gas service to our customers through the immediate support of our entire gas utility team, along with a full menu of convenient services, including electronic billing and payment."

Jones said the company's newest customers can look forward to further updates and information from Black Hills Energy. "We like to hear from our customers," he said. "We're strong advocates for energy efficiency, so we provide tips for saving energy along with information on our other products and services."
