Blackbaud, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLKB) today announced that the Department of Justice ("DoJ") has notified it that the antitrust investigation of Blackbaud's proposed acquisition of Convio, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNVO) is closed. Blackbaud refiled its Premerger Notification and Report Form with the DoJ under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 on April 13, 2012 that started a waiting period under the Act expiring at 11:59 p.m., New York City time, on April 30, 2012. The proposed acquisition remains subject to the expiration or earlier termination of this waiting period and other customary closing conditions.
