BlackBerry Limited shares closed down 5.27% yesterday but regained some of those losses in after-hours trading. It looks like traders are showing their worry over the company's financial results that are scheduled for today. According to Zacks Consensus Estimates, the company is projected to post break-even earnings, as compared to 4 cents a share in the same quarter last year. Estimated revenues of $211.03 million, represents a YOY decline of 26.21%. It was last week that it was revealed that the company has entered into a multi-year contract with Jaguar Land Rover. The companies will be developing automotive technology for Jaguar's next generation vehicles. There were no details provided on the terms of the agreement, but BlackBerry will be providing license to Jaguar Land Rover so that it the company can use BlackBerry's QNX and Certicom technology.

Sprint Corporation shares closed down 2.40% on about 9.4 million shares traded on Tuesday. The stock hit a new low of $4.87 during intra-day trading despite any major catalyst to explain the move. The company's CEO Marcelo Claure is expecting many 5G phones in 2021 despite analysts thinking otherwise. The CEO has rejected analyst predictions that 5G handsets will only be a fraction of all phones in the year 2021. He commented on Twitter after Strategy Analytics predicted that commercial 5G handsets will only account for 5% of total global handsets. Gartner also made a prediction like this in January. It was in February that Sprint said it would launch mobile 5G services on its 2.5 GHz spectrum holdings on a nationwide basis in the first half of 2019. Claure stated, "We're working with Qualcomm and network and device manufacturers in order to launch the first truly mobile [5G] network in the United States by the first half of 2019. This development will put Sprint at the forefront of technology innovation on par with other leading carriers around the world ? We believe our next-gen network will truly differentiate Sprint over the next couple of years."
