India Gold Prices May Rise To New High; To Hit Demand Further
MUMBAI--Gold prices in India may hit new highs in the next couple of months due to a weak rupee and further sluggish demand since the government doubled the import tax on the precious metal in March, analysts and trade executives said Wednesday.
