The announcement erroneously stated the amount of Mr Tim Leslie's interest in the share capital of the Company. The full amended text of the announcement appears below and all other information remains unchanged.
BlueRock Diamonds plc ("BlueRock" or "the Company") 3 May 2016Following the announcement of the Placing on 28 April 2016 ("the Placing") BlueRock Diamonds plc, the AIM listed diamond mining company which owns and operates the Kareevlei mine in South Africa is pleased to announce that Tim Leslie confirmed on 30 April 2016 to accept his allocation of 1,036,363 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in in the Placing. Tim Leslie's allocation had been underwritten by another shareholder in the event that he was unable to complete his documentation by 30 April 2016.
The Company confirms that the binding commitment that Paul Beck and Adam Waugh entered into to underwrite the potential participation in the Placing was not met as the investor was able to complete the documentation for their participation in the Placing in time.
Following completion of the Placing, Mr Leslie will have a beneficial interest in a total of 6,322,077 Ordinary Shares, representing 16.29% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. 5,322,077 Ordinary Shares are held in Tim Leslie's own name and 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares are held in the name of his wife, Sarah Leslie.
Following settlement of the Placing by BlueRock to raise £700,000 and the granting of options to Adam Waugh at the Placing price, announced on 28 April 2016, and the acquisition of Ordinary Shares described above, the interests of the Directors in the Ordinary Share capital of the Company and details of the share options held by them will be as follows:
