TEB Family Academy is a major new financial literacy initiative designed to address recent declines in Turkey's household saving rate, to improve the quality of financial planning, and to safeguard the future of families. In-branch and in-company training is provided for TEB's personal and business customers and prospects. Additional online and offline content is also being developed for specific audiences - such as women, children and university students.
Outcome
Within the first three months, more than 20,000 people had received training (and this is due to exceed 100,000 people within a year). The programme has been very well received by customers and also by public bodies such as government bodies, unions and universities. Training has ranged from small, in-branch sessions to huge initiatives, involving thousands of people in auditoriums.
