The BNP Paribas Currency Guide is designed to help all BNP Paribas corporate clients better handle the challenge of dealing with foreign currencies, regardless of their size and where they operate. This guide provides both practical guidelines and information on currencies for over 130 countries all over the world.

Pierre Fersztand, Global Head of Cash Management at BNP Paribas stated: "With this guide, we target organisations of all sizes that need help managing the uncertainty and complexity of making international payments. It relies on our expertise serving more than 40,000 corporates worldwide. We herewith reaffirm our commitment to cash and to our clients."

On a daily basis, corporates are faced with a lack of consistency between the local requirements, processes and practices of the markets they operate in. We provide guidance to process efficiently their international payments.

"In this guide, available on request, we deliver the guidelines that must be respected to secure international payments and exhaustive information on more than 130 currencies. For example, today, all transactions in euro between two countries with the euro as domestic currency must respect the SEPA regulation" explains Wim Grosemans, Head of Product Management International Payments at BNP Paribas Cash Management.

Also, this currency guide is part of a broader initiative of BNP Paribas Cash Management towards digital transformation in order to better accompany their corporate clients.
