During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Corporate Knights, a company focused on promoting a social, ecological and sustainable economic system, published the "2015 Global 100 index", a ranking that gathers the 100 most sustainable corporations in the world.

More than 4,600 listed companies with a market capitalization greater than $2 billion were scrutinized. In 2015, BNP Paribas joined for the first time the ranking.

The "Global 100" most sustainable companies are judged on the basis of 12 key performance indicators; such as energy, carbon, water and waste productivity, etc.

"The Global 100 represent the corporate trailblazers who are forging new ways to make more with less," said Toby Heaps, CEO of Corporate Knights.
