As part of this new partnership, BNP Paribas in Switzerland is committing itself to the 'World Alliance for Efficient Solutions ' programme.

This initiative, which is at the heart of the challenges addressed by the Solar Impulse Foundation, was launched following the first round-the-world trip in a solar-powered aircraft by Bertrand Piccard. Its purpose is to assist governments and companies to adopt more ambitious energy policies and to fulfil their environmental goals by adopting clean and viable technologies. For this purpose, the Solar Impulse Foundation has set a goal for itself to select the most promising #1000 solutions to protect the environment between now and COP 24 in 2018. An approach that is in line with the Group's commitment to support the United Nations Global Goals.

BNP Paribas (Switzerland) SA, via its support for the Solar Impulse Foundation, is contributing its expertise in terms of risk management and is proposing volunteering assignments to its employees.
