BNP PARIBAS The VR Arles Festival, the leading arts event in virtual reality, invites the public for a 360° discovery of cinema, documentaries and artistic creation. Spectators will be plunged into the midst of the world's best virtual reality productions. The festival forms an integral part of the Rencontres d'Arles and will run for 11 weeks. BNP Paribas is the main sponsor for the second time round.
The jury:
The opening week, from 3 to 9 July, will be devoted to a competition with a jury that will meet in the Saint-Césaire centre on 4 and 5 July to award a prize of €10,000 to the best film among those selected. Film director and jury president Michel Hazanavicius will be joined by Valérie Donzelli (actress and film director), Mercedes Erra (Executive President of the Havas group), Elisha Karmitz (Head of mk2 Agency), Vincent Perez (actor and film director), Bertrand Cizeau (Global Head of Communication at BNP Paribas), Benoit Baume (President and CEO of Fisheye) and Olivier Mégean (President and CEO of Le Point).
