Bonaire Participacoes SA is a Brazil-based company primarily engaged in the energy sector. As of July 18, 2012, the Company held a 0.66% stake in CPFL Energia SA, which is a holding company involved in the distribution, transmission, generation and commercialization of electric energy in Brazil. CPFL Energia SA is engaged in the generation of electric energy through hydroelectric plants, small hydropower plants and thermoelectric power stations, as well as in the electrical power distribution in the Brazilian states of Sao Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Parana and Minas Gerais. As of May 30, 2012, the Company was wholly owned by Energia Sao Paulo Fundo de Investimento em Participacoes.
