Boston Private, a leading provider of fully integrated wealth management, trust and private banking services, today announced the appointment of Chris Roy as Managing Director, Senior Business Development Officer. In this role, Roy will be responsible for establishing new relationships with institutional and private clients, and will report to Scott Dell’Orfano, Chief Operating Officer at Boston Private Wealth.

Chris joins Boston Private from Windrose Advisors, where he led the Client Advisory Group in advising endowments, foundations and families. Prior to that role, he was the Vice President for Business Development at Fidelity Investments, Director of Business Development at Clearbrook Global Advisors, and a Vice President at Merrill Lynch Global Private Client, where he held a role on the management team for one of the firm’s fastest-growing teams.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College, where he was elected the captain of the lacrosse team, and is a graduate of The Roxbury Latin School and Dexter-Southfield School. He currently serves as Chair of the Investment Committee and Trustee at the Dexter Southfield School in Brookline, Massachusetts.
